How Italians dry dishes

This is how dishes are dried in Italy. Very ingenious, out of sight, doesn't take up counterspace, and good for the environment too. There is a special cabinet with dishracks built into it. You put the wet dishes and glasses right into it, and they drip dry. There is a tray below to catch water. No wet countertops or dishrack mats that get moldy or gross and have to be replaced. Israelis do the same thing but they put the cabinets right over the sink. You don't need a built-in tray then; the water goes right into the sink.
