How great to be back in Firenze, to have meals with S. and R., to go to my favorite places, to be able to leave my bag at R's stand so I could wander more easily. Bologna is great but Florence has a similar vibe to New York - gritty, crowded, energizing and alive.
I gave T. and W. books, including Harold and the Purple Crayon. T. looked at it and said, "I like his head!" "What?" "I like his head.. He has a cute head."
Glad you were able to meet up and catch up with your friends over there....
